Lawlz I was riding away from Nashville with Friday,and saw this just as we got on the interstate,and had to catch up to get a quick pix.It's from a cell phone sorry bout the quality,but you get the picture.I dont see this too often so i thought it was pretty cool.

The newer trucks tend to have them, depends on the maker though.

I've seen Volvo's with them.

Ross, I don't know so much because the other colors all look good.
Amber lights on top and side, red on back of cab and general Yellow-ish tint of the average set of headlights...

New trucks have OEM HID with OEM HID Projectors, But this looks like a Ebay kit. LOL

Looks like HIDs in a non projector housing.

I know some of the Volvo 18 wheelers have them, but they don't look like that from that angle. There's a lot of light refraction going on, and when I first saw the pic I thought it looked like an HID kit in stock housings.

Almost every truck has hid's now...my Eagle 7400i had hid's 3 yrs ago....in a non projector housings.

yea this is perty commen and yea that would be a retro fit set up cuz it looks to be a some what older truck i cant really tell if its a peeter bilt or a kinworth and yea volvos have had thim for a little wile (volvos are a PITA to work on by the way) but yes this is perty commen my step dads kenworth has thim but i thank its a 08 so lol

volvo's are not coming with hids yet. i work at a volvo truck dealership and have yet to see one come thru yet. kenworth peterbuilt and i believe some of the newer internationals are coming factory equiped

That model peterbuilt they made from the early 80 up to now they haven't changed much at all. More then likely its a 379 pete if its a 2001 and up which more then likely it is. And volvos aren't hard to work on If you have anykind of mechanical ability just like anyother truck they are almost all the same setup.

Yea that's exactly why i didn't take a picture of the Volvo, because they didn't look like hid's.But if anyone happens to see any more 18 wheelers with (HID'S) please post pictures i would love to see more.

International makes Eagle don't they? I've only heard of the 9 series and up? I don't think I've ever seen a 7 series? I think the new Lonestar made by International is the one of the nicest semi's built.

I really don't like International's I worked at a big truck shop and we had more International motors got out in 6 months week had at less one in the shop getting a motor swap. Kenworth and Peterbuilt is where its at if you want some thing to work with and not have many problems out of. My 2 cents on that subject.
