i was going to send something in to this tonight - like i finished editing them late last night and then fell asleep and was going to send them in when i got home today.

I like the contest idea. I just never got around to taking any pics lately. And when I was shooting, I just didnt have the "contest" in my mind at the time. (ha...that rhymed)

But anyways. I'm gonna vote for the 2nd pic. Not because its of a car, but because of the different contrast in the sky. The "second" pic of submission 2 is cool none the less, but the "first" pic of it is just bada** cuz of the different texture the sky brings to view

Na keep it going I like looking at the pics.Photography is Greek to me you guys get on the spill of so and so camera with so and so flash at so and so shudder speed.But I do like the finished products that are posted.

Correct. All of the submissions fit within the guidelines. Seems to me the two edits (#2 and #3) have the original picture posted last, with the editing picture preceeding it. The first one is a solid "double take" submission.

I was really hoping to see something like a up close/macro shot, then a shot of the same thing further back. I really should have gotten more involved and made that happen. Something presented in a completely different perspective like that was really what I was hoping to pull out of people. It's cool to see a few edits though as it shows people's processes.

Either way I really like the photo contests on here and hope to see them keep going.

Oh i get it. Like a double take in real life. You see something and then had to look at it again. Like a hot girl or a clean looking car.
oh well...too late now
