All I meant is how can a car have too much coverage thats all..Especially a car as rare as the Cosmo. One of probably less than 5 in the entire US.

Really? Theyre actually not missing, those allow more air to flow in through the bumper. On the drivers side that is usually where Miata owners route their intakes to so that its not sitting just over the header. The markers are still there they just have holes in them :biggrin:

I can fully understand that but it just doesn't seem have that flawless look. Guess you can't please them all but none the less a spectacular vehical. I have often thought about getting a miata but I always get side tracked on other spur of the moment projects.

Those aren't missing. They are called TSI's (turn signal intakes). They are functional cold air intakes. That car was built for 100% function and 0% form.
