Memphis event(err right outside memphis), thought I'd share...
Driving all day from 9am till 5pm. 30 driver cap, so you'll get lots of seat time. But hurry up, only 8 spots left! Early registration ends FEB 12th, after that the price goes up!

I much rather pay 100 to fuck my shit up at a track going sideways then fucking it up going down a drag strip for 50? One drift is funner and takes more skill than driving straight.

If you pay $50 to test and tune you are an idiot.

Id rather pay $50 or $100 to goto a track day or auto-x event. Much more fun then going in a straight line or sliding into walls or other idiots.

yeah i love auto-crossing my miata and I'm going to try to do more road racing than drifting in my 240.

yes we are but all we have close is Crossville that is a hour a way and they look down on imports bad. The other is Buffalo Valley that's 45 mins away and the track sucks but it's fun to go to but both are pricey to go to.

Well then test and tune price of $25 is the proper comparison since TNDrift and TO events are practice events not competitions running for prizes.

hey man, sorry about you're bad luck - first the rb decided not to run, then broken tie rod? Are you going to make next week's event at NSS?
On the topic of track days > drifting - sure, but show me a local $75 track day and I'm there.
As far as hitting walls or cars - no walls here, just cones. Hitting cars? Maybe if you're going tandem, but that's your choice.
Wow...you idiots pay up to 100.00 just to fuck up your cars? That's why you're called dumbass drifters...
and what kind of racing/driving do you participate in?

Wow, you guys ruined this thread.
Drift events are always a ton of fun, if you aren't interested then post in another thread. Everyone has their own idea of fun, so don't try and rain on someone else's.
This forum gets out of control sometimes with the bullshit.
