so im going to be putting a 2000 gsr motor in my 2000 civic.. will the gsr mounts work in the civic?also heard that i should get 99-00 honda civic si rear transmission bracket ?

yeah, mounts should work i believe. not sure about the trans bracket, i have never swapped an EK/EJ

You do need the rear engine mount from a 99-00 civic si, along with the driver side engine bracket from a 99-00 si or 94-97 del sol DOHC VTEC. The bracket and mount that is on your transmission can be reused if of course your car is a five speed. For the front transmission bracket you can use one from a 94-01 integra, 99-00 si or 94-97 del sol DOHC.
