Anybody had these guys install an engine in their Nissan?
http://www.jgycustoms.com/
I have a project car and am looking for someone to do the install. I have a SR20DET GTiR engine going in a 94 Sentra. Looking for some guidance. Be more than happy to have some knowledgeable help if I do it myself, that is if a few beers would pay them for their time. Thanks in advance.

got a buddy that just had his motor built by them. he was very happy, and they seem to be extremely helpful. hes doing a built sr with a 3071 and they even did the tranny install since he was using the tranny off a new g20 as well.

I visited their shop, saw some of their work and owners cars/projects. Wasn't impressed. Do it yourself, save money. I have a garage you can do it in.

The wiring's done, old engine is out, live in the Westomoreland area (north of Gallatin) I've heard good things from them and know they would do a good job, just don't know if it's worth the time and cost of trailering the car all the way to VA for a engine swap.

Thanks for the offer, might take you up on it. I actually have a JWT ECU for it, so I'm not worried about electrical, it's a automatic to manual tranny swap and not sure If I have everything for that, might have to make a junkyard trip.

who does good custom exhaust work will need that. also to go front mount will need piping, got the intercooler. don't know if the hood will shut with the stock one.

its pretty much a direct bolt in swap except you cant use the gtir intercooler less you wanna cut a hole in your hood but if you wiring is done and the old engine is out, the hard stuff is over. Just put the sr in bolt in up plug it up and check, recheck and check again everything aqnd you should be good to go

JGY......Sucks......The guy that built my turbo kit and tuned the car is one of the best Nissan guys there is....Scott at TheShop.....Here is a video of a sr20det car that they(they being JGY) did.The guy that owned it was talking up about all the stuff it had done and how well it ran.....I guess the wife in the honda was just a little better driver...
