ugh, i was totally pissed off at the half assed effort. this was a team KU shoulda stomped into a mudhole, instead they underestimated them and came out and half-assed it.

NIU might have had the #2 defense in the nation, but that stat is misleading due to the fact that they play in such a weak conference and there were no quality opponents on their schedule. still I have to give them props, they played to win and Kansas did not.

as a KU fan, I'm just downright embarrassed. Seems to be a trademark pattern with Bill Self teams since he took over at KU. first Bucknell, then Bradford, and now Northern Iowa.

granted we won a National Title 2 years ago against Memphis, but wow...he needs to put a foot in these kids asses, because it's apparent they weren't prepared enough.

anyone can beat anyone on any given day. Shit, Tennessee beat 2 #1 seeds. and they have had players suspended and kicked off the team. I dont understand why Tenn is not getting the credit they deserve! Bruce Pearl has brought back Tenn basketball!!!!
