new wheels...

thought i'd share with every forum i have an account on...sooooo....

i put some 99 GT stockers on today...painted them semi-gloss black with heat enamel before hand though....the fronts are 245/45/17s and the backs are 275/40/17 nitto 555Rs....they hook better then any tire i've ever had...i can't wait to install the posi next month...my v6 lugs are too tall for the GT center caps...so until i can go get some shorter ones no centercaps...even though i have them painted already

There's a kid in hopkinsville with a roots-style supercharger on his 2001 v6......he's been on the dyno multiple times, always messing with something, 11 psi (I think), and...............barely keeps up with swapped Hondas and gets walked by stock gt's. In fact I know a stock sr 240 that pulls and my 14psi/stock turbo/street tuned 240 rocked his fucking world. Not trying to knock v6 mustangs...just sayin...if you were gonna go that route, don't.

just going to make this my last post on this site....it's pretty sad that auto guys and gals can't get together on a forum and enjoy our cars...but no...people have to hate...there are cars here i don't find tasteful but i keep it to myself because i know the person enjoys what they have....as for comments on a roots style being slow...maybe for your friend...however the person helping me with my car had an 03 v6 running a mid to high 12 on 10psi with an m112....a procharger on 10psi will put a sixxer into the low to mid 12s...maybe some people here should do more automotive research before they start to bash a car....good day to those that love the automotive world, and to those posers here...i'm sorry i couldn't pretend to give a shit and hang out with you guys....

trust me, i did research, i thought i might be able to do something cool with it, then i realized the only way to make respectable power with a v6 mustang is to put a v8 in it, then id have a v6 mustang with a v8 that still handles like a minivan.. its just massive failure no matter how you look at it, just save the potential money thats invested in the crapstang, and buy a gt.. easy

Those making the comments about the V6 may have thought they were being helpful by recommending the V8 route to save him some money and get the performance he's looking for. Maybe it came off differently to him. Seriously though, if you mod a V6 Mustang, the only thing to do is get used to these kinds of questions and statements, because a lot of people aren't going to understand. You can either A) simply tell people you're just wanting to do something different. B) Learn to shrug it off and keep doing what you're doing. C) Get butthurt, call everyone faggots and pout. Guess which answer is the worst one? I don't really see where anyone said anything bad about his car.

yeah.. lol, i admit we get kinda harsh with what we say here, but the point of building a car is building it for you, no matter what everyone says, if you wanna build a 1985 cavalier, do it! just be prepared for lots of haters, same thing with a v6 mustang, i think i can safely say everyone except fellow v6 mustang owners thinks "gay" as soon as the owner says v6.. lol
