Tennessee Drift 2010 season back on!!!

We’re all set to continue the 2010 Tennessee Drift Cup season. We are moving to the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. This facility is where Tennessee Drift was born and they are very excited to bring us back. We have a really good relationship with this track so I need your help to keep it that way. It’s a challenging venue that will provide exciting competitions as well as unmatched spectator access to the action. Spectators can stand 10 feet away from the action behind a concrete wall and catch fence. Check out the schedule page for all the details.

The next event is April 24th. It will be the last practice event before our competition series begins. Come on out and get your seat time so you'll be ready to compete for the 2010 Tennessee Drift Cup Championship!

I understand that. last year that would have worked great for me. The thing with me now is i work every other weekend and it seems as if im scheduled to miss 80% of the drift events though.

Great, I just looked at the fucking schedule on the website and I might be able to make it to like 2 events when I was going to be able to make it to 6 with the last schedule.

This fucking blows. I hope the other guys schedule their events around yours so I can actually get some driving in this year.

I might actually be able to make it out to this. Anybody have any suggestions for a first timer? Will there be a tire changer on site? Best place to pick up cheap tires to drift on? Any info would help.

Not sure yet, I might be getting some 15" RX7 wheels to use if they will fit, if not I have a set of 17x7 that I can put on there as well.

Well guys lets make this season a success so we can hit the nashville super speedway back up next year. Lets keep everything under control and mature. If we can run the rest of our season with no problems it will definitely help us get back to the nashville super speedway and on the sick road course. Here is our last shot so we definitely need everybodys support to try and fix the problems that have happened at past events.

Everybody will notice a couple new rule changes.

1. Security- after the last event will have to staff a minimum of one uniformed police officer at every event. He will be patrolling the pits. (We didn't want to have to do it since its just an added expence, an expensive one at that, that we have to reflect in entry fee)

2. Tech- due to the past tech inspections and people being unsure if every car was teched. (Which I have teched every car, and at the last event Nick teched them and i reteched then not knowing) but we will have a tech booth and you will recieve a tech sheet and after your go threw the tech booth you will recieve a small sticker that will show you passed.. no sticker no driving.


The new adopted tech sheet will be poster soon.

I was able to find the answer to my question. According to the info on motorsportreg.com there will be tire-changers available on site.

the tire changer is fine as long as you use things like duct tape to protect you wheels. But look at the thread a couple posts down for reg and price.
