My headlights are looking a little yellow and i dont have the money to just buy some new ones for my teg. So i need to know what the best stuff to use to get it looking good again. Ive heard of some foam you can shoot inside the light and it cleans it out but i have no idea what its called and where to get it?
Thanks...

If they have turned yellow looking that is the plastic changing color. You may be able to wetsand and buff them but if you don't know how to do it then I wouldn't recomend doing it.

If they are like a yellow foggy color than can be sanded down and buffed out. That's what we do at my work. I think, not sure but I think, 3m makes a kit to do it. If not I'm sure you can find somewhere that would do it for $60 or $70.

Polish in toothpaste...saw it on powerblock. Haha. With a polisher of course. But no wetsanding in a couple of stages is best, with a final polishing at the ends

onsight headlight will get them like new for $10/ light. 615-569-3294
We use him all the time. His name is Erik.
Or wet sand with 1000 grit and polish with mcguires's scratch-x.
3M medium duty rubbing compound isnt bad either if you have a buffer.

stop usein sand paper. go get you some mothers alum polish and polish the headlights. they will get as clear as you want them to be. Wax them when you are done so they dont get foggy again.

I used one of those $15 kits from walmart on my girlfriends headlights and it worked pretty good. If you can read, you will do just fine with the kit.

It's for polishing metals, but it does wonders for removing rust and headlights.

just for most of you guys info, caranauba waxes are typically broken down after just 2 weeks. typically wont be there after 2 months.

i use a sheet of 2000 grit (i get it @ work) to knock the worst of the haze off, then the meguires by hand-or the buffer ball. takes 5 minutes each.

I use either a buffer or meguiers polishing ball. Start off with rubbing compound, move to polishing compound, the a good wax polish at the end.
if you have glass try 0000 steel wool, then the same steps as above
