April 2010 ROTM Run-off Vote

Per the new rules for 2010, if nobody gets >30% of the vote then there is a sort of 'tiebreaker' between those with the most votes to make things interesting ... this means everyone gets to vote again between the following:

Cause it pisses you off old man...I just pulled up his Showcase and looks like his is minor bolt ons and suspension DD. Kinda in the realm of Adam's SC I guess. Overall its a nice car for what it is. I was just curious whether it was a case of real Accord love or if it was more of a vote for your buddy kind of thing. Now I know ;)

Well an Accord isnt the normal car that is flocked to for ROTM and is the lowest end car on the list so I was wondering if there was something I was missing. Lighten up Dave. Its a nice Accord I have to admit. Just alot of people voting for it dont strike me as your normal Honda lovers ya know.

Yeah, it is kind of odd that the car with the most work and money put into it (not to mention probably the most capable) is losing. Not trying to bash the other cars here, definitely some very nice cars here and one of the best ROTM we've had in a long time, but I guess we all just have different ideas in what ROTM means. Oh well.

Yes, all my car has is simple bolt-on's and coilovers. I daily the car and I am a broke college student. I don't have any baller wheels, or some sick turbo setup under the hood, but I'm just trying to make the most out of an un-loved platform. I think people like my car because its not just another Honda Civic. It's definitely not the same to take an Accord and do it up than it is to take a Civic and modify it. i voted patrick not because he is my friend, but it is an over all clean car. At first glance the other cars are nice, but something about his car just catches my eye. I love the other cars. they are nice, but we've heard of them time and time again. rarely do we see an accord being able to pull off a super clean look that is enough to compete with built cars like moody's supra, and baller ass wheels on the sc. i dunno, i'm pretty interested in the accord and want to see how far he could get with it

Regardless of how you feel about the way someone else chooses to modify their car, you shouldn't approach this negatively - we're all different, and spending your time knocking others just because they don't share the same opinions is pretty ignorant.

I can appreciate all these cars for different reasons. If you're in this voting you probably have a good shot at winning again in the future and should be proud to have made it this far, its a great selection this month.

spoolie you have to remember that a majority of cars on this site are comparable to spastics car... except theirs aren't rusted pos's on purpose... so my belief is more people can relate to to spastics car versus the other options. :biggthumpup:

I voted earlier, but did not elaborate. I don't personally know any of these guys, so hopefully it's un-biased.

The Supra is the "best" car without much question; Moody's is already a minor internet legend unto itself. I do appreciate the hilarious irony of a "flying tigers" paint scheme on a German car (for those who stayed awake in history class), I also appreciate working with what you've got (an Accord in this case), and/or something that's not commonly given an aggressive look (SC). However, I threw a vote at the Subaru for a clean look and not going overboard when it is so easy to do that anymore.
