View Full Version : Anywhere to buy 6000k bulbs in TN?

I am looking for a store in the area that sells HID 6000k D2R bulbs.

I know I can order them online but because of the expense and fragility of them I would prefer to buy local.

Any help would be appreciated.

advance auto parts..... D2R for a lexus are 6000k, $118 i believe.

OEM is 4300k and thats all that advanced sells

I'm not really going to bash this time but w/e. Stick with OEM and stop trying to be a fag. No need to get 6k because its just going to provide lest like. If you already have 4300 then stick with that. How about this: I'll give you my 6k and you give me your 4300.

Thanks for the input. I have read tons about this switch and am still not 100% on 4300k vs 6000k. I realize there is a very slight decrease in light output but people actually say they see clearer though at night.

BTW this is not a debate thread especially since everyone seems to have an opposing opinion on this subject so lets just stick to the original topic.

FYI I just ordered my new bulbs. I went with the Philips 5000k bulbs. They offer close to the same light output as the OEM 4300k bulbs with the same appeal as the 6000k bulbs without sacrificing light output.
