And I know exactly why.

-Crappy track (can't run in the groove)
-Street Tires (Sumitomo HTRZIII + Kenne Bell torque = Smoke show)
-DA of almost 12,000 ft.
-No driver mod, yet.

Here's the best run:

RT: .032
60': 2.503
330':6.407
1/8: 9.440
MPH: 84.78
1000': 10.875
1/4: 14.019
MPH: 109.14

Now it's time to try the M&H's, and smaller wheels. Not too bad though, really, if ya think about it. I haven't raced in over a year, and it was on true street tires.

I did make it to the 3rd round, out of 24 cars, finished 4th. Not TOO bad. Still have some work to do though.

Glad to see that you are actually getting to enjoy your car, and getting to see your hard work and money put to work!

Good to see you having fun with a car you put some work on. The disappointing time just means you need to practice launching it more. The good thing about that? It's fun. ;)

I wouldn't worry about it too much with driver mod and tires it will be a different story completely.

Just think what that time will look like when you are pulling a 1.6 60 not a 2.5

Already have the tires, and an extra set of wheels:

True, but you wouldn't run that trap speed, especially up here.

Nah, seems like I was running 1/8th mile around 70mph.. that was almost 4 years ago though..

Good shit.

And that's why it's "disappointing" in a way. I know the car, and I can do better, just have to get the M&Hs on it, and THEN I'll be impressed.
