I doubt he would just run a road course setup up there. Even though alot of it is just like a road course, it's just a spring and shock change. Jeff Zwart has been running a 911 up pikes peak for years so he is quite familiar with it. Very nice video though.

The angle that Rhys's vid was shot from made it look faster/ smoother than Zwart's.

I wish they would have made a kick-ass video with like 50 different cameras like they did with Millen's run. It's hard to tell exactly what the car is doing from the in-car.

My thoughts exactly - Rhys seemed to be a lot more comfortable with the car in a slide. I think the majority of the time difference was on the initial high speed section - a lot of the hairpins in the dirt were slooooow, but a couple were good.
GT3 is N/A, right?

Looks pretty damn smooth to me... Especially on dirt. Rhys looks smoother because he was sliding more. Jeff Zwart was fighting for traction and didn't slide as much and that was a major factor as to why he set a faster time.
Rhys slid on the tarmac part and lost a lot of time there.

Mad driving skilz, He's wrestling with some serious HP and the way the car was bouncing around on the rough, I'd bet his suspension was setup mostly favoring the tarmac section. And he made the most of it flying through the tarmac section.
