Hey guys,
I am organizing the HPDE for IA this Sunday. I apologize for the late notice on scheduling, but this just fell into my hands yesterday. The original guy organizing the HPDE is no longer running the event. I am doing what I can for the time I was given. Currently, there are only 13 people registered for this event. We need to change that! You will not find a better deal than this. Not to mention, you will get so much track time you'll be sick of running by the end of the day!
All novices can have an instructor ride along with you if you wish. I highly recommend getting a ride along for at least the first session. It really helps to know where the correct line is, and what you can improve on. Come see me at the grid (track entrance in front of the media building) if you would like an instructor. My car (silverstone S2000 w/ black wheels) will be up at grid. It will have a "Wynn's Burgers & Ice Cream" banner on the doors.
Tech inspection opens at 8 a.m. We will inspect your cars at the grid. You must have your car teched before it is allowed on track. Make sure your battery is secure and any loose objects are taken out. Closed toe shoes are required.
Mandatory drivers meeting in the Media Building starts at 8:30 a.m.
Track goes hot at 9 a.m.
We will only be running 2 run groups. Here is how the schedule will look:
8:00 a.m. Tech Inspection

9:00 Novice / Intermediate session
9:30 Expert / Instructor session
