Time Schedule for Drifting at Import Alliance on Saturday

Here is the schedule for those of you planning on drifting at Import Alliance.

BE AT THE TRACK AT 7:00 AM not 7:05

TECH WILL START AT 8:00 AM

DRIVERS MEETING AT 9:00 AM

HIT THE TRACK AFTER DRIVERS MEETING!

WE NEED EVERY BODY TO BE ON TIME. THE SOONER EVERBODY GETS THERE THE SOONER WE CAN GET TO DRIVING!!!!

My question is, if we go to IA to watch the drifting will they let you in at 7 o clock? I cant find any information about when the gates open for the entire event.

Yea bud, I can read. Last year I sat in my car for over an hour waiting to get in. So I am going to get there as early as possible because I don't really feel like sitting in a hot ass car for an hour.

Soooo let me get this straight. You are complaining because you sat in your car for an hour last year waiting to get in. So this year you plan on getting there earlier even though the gates still don't open til 8 on Saturday, and your still gonna be sitting in your car for an hour just like you said you didn't want to? The gates open at 8 am on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday.

From the HPDE thread: "Tech inspection opens at 8 a.m. We will inspect your cars at the grid. You must have your car teched before it is allowed on track. Make sure your battery is secure and any loose objects are taken out. Closed toe shoes are required.

Mandatory drivers meeting in the Media Building starts at 8:30 a.m.

Track goes hot at 9 a.m."

That's for general admission. You can get in earlier on both days if you are running the HPDE or Drifting.
