I agree I don't really understand the fuss. She wears her hair in a bun? However, since it's a woman of course we have to talk about her looks. I mean, I haven't heard discussion of what McCain looks like in his suits or speculation on what OBama (oh look! it has a B and not an S) looks like without his shirt off.

I agree that he chose her because of the women vote but I think it will backfire for him. First, I'm hoping people go to the polls with more than race and gender in mind. Also, I look at it as a glass ceiling. It's as if he is saying " here take this secondary position so that people can have their woman leader but I still have the veto power."

Also, why are we choosing people over their military experience. In my opinion, if he was a P.O.W. for that long than he probably has some deep seeded psychological issues.

Reasons not to pick Obama
1. He is going to change washington, no he is not becuase the president can't change much, congress can and then the president can approve that law. right now we have a bunch of DNC retards in congress now and Obama will side with party lines when it comes time to VETO.
2. He wants to talk to Iran and thinks he can solve problems by talking there is no need for violence. You see Russia stepping up big, I don't need this guy running the ship as Russia goes tearing ass through eastern Europe, whats he going to do give them a talking to? I'm ready for some old school measured response.
3. He won't raise taxes but he is going to fix Medicare and Social Security. He keeps saying it will be easy to fix these things with out raising taxes, I'm willing to bet the military suffers in funding for those things, see above. If it was easy to fix I'm pretty sure we could have done that by now, hey I've heard Social Security will last unitl 2041 now.

While he did not support the invasion of Georgia he said that he does not think it will reignite the cold war. His comment about "nations not invading other nations in the 21st century" has been taken out of context in the media and quite frankly has been blown out of proportion.

The media say that he is a hypocrite because he voted for the war in iraq and is now against the invasion in Russia. Quite honestly, this is like comparing apples to oranges. Iraq was run by a terrorist supporting leader that was a potential threat to the US. Georgia, however, was a sovereign state with a freely elected leader.

CNN should have explained the U.S.'s view on terrorism....
