Looking for an alternative that wont rob the wallet for sound dampening. Looking to do all my doors, floor and trunk. I have seen stuff on Ebay, but am unaware of the quality. If i went dynomat id pay a fortune. Any suggested materials would be great. Thanks

theres plenty of alternatives to dynamat. we used this stuff called hushmat i believe, i hear of this stuff called peel and seal thats like gutter patching, but dont know much about it. realmofexcursion.com could help you a little more than most of us can. esp since its a forum geared towards audio

i have used the fatmat stuff before and it was decent. i havent found one that does as good as dynamat, but if you are on a budget the fatmat worked pretty well

I use secondskin damplifier. Great stuff, my trunk is solid as a rock

for the 411 my main goal for this project is to allow my little girl to ride with me but still be able to rock the aftermarket exhaust.

ive heard that stuff like duplicolors rubber undercoating works

i was also watching speed tv and they had a special paint i forgot what it was called but it came with rubber in the paint and its usually used as a bed liner but can also be used for sound deadening
