Tennessee Drift open drift day Aug. 21

Come one come all to the August 21st open drift day at the Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville. $75 pre-reg. on motorsportreg.com. $85 at the gate. Spectators $10. Ride alongs $5. Bring your own helmet.

Beginners welcome. We will have two run groups. Beginners and advanced. Instruction will be available.

Come out and drift the Fairgrounds. It's a challenging course that may not be around much longer.

We'll see you there!

I finially blew my engine after several years of abuse. Just a bering. It will be back together in no time. So i guess im one less that was there drifting. I left because i had other things i reall should have been doing but couldnt miss the drift event. Plus i almost have the engine out. Im just taking a break right now.

Yea it was nice to see you again. I wish i would have stayed longer but i really felt like going strait home to pull the engine. Upon further inspection it was the bering as i thought but the reason for the failure sucks. The engine was actually quite healthy still, and probably would have lasted a long long time, but the oil sump broke............ it was too late........

In the works is a very very nice engine build. High compression Sr24det! 92mm fully counter balenced crank, weisco is custom forging me a set of 90mm 10:1 pistons. Darton is doing allot of work to the block and sleeving it..................

Ah, yes. Its on!

no actually it was the oil pan being dented in. straightened it out and all good. running like a champ and by the way thanks for your help. hope you can get your engine purring again soon.

the worst part is, I used to attend all events in GA and TN and even some in FL. Went from like 13 events in a year to few to none. AND the worst part is, all I am having issues is inproper fitment of my pipe after turbo and before downpipe since my kit is SUPER old. I have like the original revhard stuff so cant find anything and if I find one and get one, it still doesnt fit like mine since it is version 2 not version 1. UGHHHH!
