steering wheel swap...on a 95 240

Any body swap steering wheels and keep cruise? If so how did you make it work

wondering the same thing thats the only thing keeping me from geting one.

just move cruise control to a different switch. seems like that would work, but then again i dono too much about cruise control and how it works other than i press a button and blammo.

remove the cruise control switch and pull out a meter and set it to ohms or ring if it has that option, have it turned off and check continuity in between the wires because it could be a two pole switch or a single pole that sends volts to other places.then turn the switch on and test it again.this is the show all see all test and will give you the most info in my opinion then go to auto zone and get the switch you need install it anywhere you fancy. or you can pull out the service manuals and start looking at wire diagrams but for me using a meter is easier than that and i work with low voltage electronics.

i finally figured it out!!!!! once you remove the air bag system all you need to do is re wire your horn and BAM you get cruise back...... pretty lame huh
