Q1: Congrats on your ROTM win. How does it feel? Definitely surprised me. There are an abundance of nice vehicles on this site, and I'm honored to be considered one that is worthy of Ride of the Month.
Q2: What inspired you to build this vehicle? After being in my old friend Tim's STi, I decided I wanted one for myself. Many years later, I was finally able to get the opportunity to buy a new car, so I started my hunt. I wanted a white one, but couldn't find a clean, affordable white one, so I settled for black. I'm in love with the AWD turbo, and the low-end torque, especially coming from a turbo d-series civic.
Q3: What is you favorite part about the vehicle? Just the overall handling and power from it. It was a huge jump from a FWD civic to AWD sti. I love the sound of the engine, the power it makes, and the overall design of the car. I love the whole thing!
Q4: Any futures plans for the build? I plan to swap wheels sometime in the future to something a little higher quality. I also plan to replace the front splitters, side skirts, add some rear spats, and a new exhaust. Also, a pro-tune will be in the future to help smooth out the power.
Q5: Any closer words for the members of Tennspeed? I appreciate the votes, and am glad to see I'm not the only one who can appreciate Subaru's awesome STi, as well as the choices I've made with the wheels, and overall setup of the car, albeit small right now.
