Best place to buy paint?

I Need to paint the trunk lid on my wrx & allso plan on repainting the Eg hatch soon.
Where is the best place to buy paint?
Ive been trying to find
Blue black mica 08v for the wrx but all i can find is touch up paint. :dunno:
This will be my first attempt at using A spray gun. Ive allways rattle caned everything so this will be new for me.

Home Depot...they have this amazing Bear paint and primer-in-one.

oreilleys sells paint, so does color match on foster, and theres a paint shop on inverness street across from thoroughbred motorcars off 8th @ white ave.

i would try to find a shop to buy it under, cause i'm sure oreilleys will try to rip you a new one.

i was goin to say byrds auto but country dave beat me to it. byrds in columbia does an awsome job matching colors and mixing paint to match faded paint. their supplys and paint isnt overpriced either.

Yeah if you can get the "jobber" deal on Nason (made by DuPont) paint at oriellys, its pretty cost effective paint and exceptional quality for the $$$. I've sprayed the single stage half a dozen times and had great luck out of it, not sure about the base/clear in that brand though.

I've only ever sprayed base/clear in PPG paint, and every time it has been amazing quality as well. Just a little more pricey.

Just get Nason fulbase basecoat. And Nason select clearcoat. If you are just gonna paint the trunk you shouldn't need more then a pint of base which prolly won't be more then 50 with activator and a quart of 496-00 clear which is less then 50 as well. Or if you want bring it to me and ill do it for a decent price.

Well I went to Emerald auto on Elm hill today
& got A Qt for 43$ 15$ for reducer.

Ive been practicing on my crx roof first with Dupli-color paint shop paint i got from advance. Im not liking the spray gun i have pretty cheap.
What is A good Starter gun for a Reasonable price? Would I be better off with A gravity fed gun?

We order from Emerald for every job at our shop. The paint matches like ppg but is as cheap as shopline. Plus it's a local family owned business. Super nice people.
I highly recommend them.

a quart of the nason bc is like 33.99 at work and i cant recall how much activator is somethin like 10 and we can mix any color you want. believe me ive went through soo many paint books and am actually going to be attending a paint class at tsu this coming thursday that theyre sending me to.
