There will likely be pre-reg for the October track event, but not until the week or two prior.

Novice Walk through: 9:30am
Safety Meeting: 10:00am

Event Costs: Non-Member
Temporary Membership required ($5.00 included in price) $35.00 SCCA Member
Must show SCCA membership card $25.00
SCCA Member, Student Must show student ID and SCCA membership card $20.00
SCCA Member. Active Duty Military Must show military ID and SCCA membership card $20.00
RallyCross (same as above, except no discounts for student or military) SCCA Membership
Register at an event and get that event free $85.00
All competitors must have a valid drivers license to compete and
be 16 years or older. Those under the age of 18 must have a minor
wavier signed by both parents and witnessed by a current SCCA
member to compete.

I'll be there. Can I get a student discount without joining the SCCA? I'm planning on joining at some point in the future, but for now I just want this event. Also, what kind of helmet do I need and how much should I expect to spend? Thanks.
