I've been reading more on it...

Thomas Donnelly & Joshua Oppenheimer wrote the script. I'm not really sure how talented they are considering they don't have much previous work - but they are writing for a couple of other high dollar productions in the works so somebody with money trusts their skills.

This is only concept art... they're pitching it around Hollywood now and no other information has really come about since.

What if James Cameron picked this up? It'd be epic! Or JJ Abrams - he had so much going for him visually with Cloverfield other than the shit camera shake! Star Trek was good.
