It was ok. Could be good but the beta was really buggy.

I'm not buying it. I'll probably rent it. I played the beta and it was fucking broken half the time.

I've played through the Single Player and I must say it was great, but naturally, very short. That's been the trend since multiplayer has taken such focus. The single player absolutely demolishes MW2's single player. Far more fun and less stupid.
I haven't played the multiplayer yet. I will try that out in between classes tomorrow. I'm expecting scaled down close quarters Bad Company 2 since it's developed by DICE and runs on Frostbite.

OH and sometimes the little things can matter. I've never seen a game with such correct weapon animations since America's Army. The game even takes into account that there's still a round chambered when you reload mid-magazine.
I don't expect Black Ops to really be worth a shit since it's being developed by Treyarch. I could be wrong but their track record hasn't exactly been stellar.

I'm gonna wait a week or two after its out to decide if I want it.

I agree 100%, I don't even think it will be as good as COD MW2 honestly...

Well, can't agree it's gonna be worse than MW2. I DESPISED MW2. I've never been so pissed about blowin $60 on something in my life. I was pissed that I wasted $70 on the special edition of WaW but at least I got a cool little tin and fake canteen out of it.
WaW is by my standards still crap but not near as crap as MW2.
Going back to Medal of Honor, despite all the newness, I got some classic Medal of Honor: Allied Assault feel in a few spots of MoH and it was very nice. Man do I ever miss more SP oriented FPS's. We need more games like Half-Life 2, the original CoD (and CoD:UO expansion), and MoH:AA.

Just played the multiplayer and yes, it's exactly as I thought. Scaled down Bad Company 2. It's too damn small. I did like the weapon selection and how it differentiated the weapons for what team you're on though. I also liked some of the behavior of the weapons. They felt more accurate and effective than in BC2.
Overall though, BC2's multiplayer is infinitely more fun. Larger, more team oriented, objectives actually take some effort, etc.
Single player wise, I think MoH wins. BC2 was hella funnier though.
But the important thing is they are both about 10,000 times better than MW2.
