going to pick up my copy after school on Tuesday. I pre-ordered mine at best buy, so no worries about them being out.

I have a PS3 though but I'm stoked about this game!!! Loved COD MW2...been ready for this one for a while now!

Got it yesterday. It's fun, its not as annoying as mw2 was. guns are all very average, nothing to overpowering or better than another.

Not as annoying? Are you serious? Dude this game has the worst lag/hickups of any online game I have ever played... They need to fix that asap or else this game is going to be a total fail... This is on PS3 btw... So much for accuracy on this thing... Spray and pray since the hit detection is just flat out terrible... This is like a run down version of MW2 just with new maps... Could have easily just been an update to the previous and would have been much better...

I agree with Milon.

The game is fun and I do emjoy it, however it does have some major things wrong with it. I think they rushed the game honestly. Its a downgrade from MW2 for sure, but it is Treyarch, and they can never hold a light to Infinity Ward.

-Hit detection is horrid
-Its hard to join a game with over 2 people, its likely someone will get dropped.
-The graphics BLOW, way worse than MW2. Feels like im playing a game from 2005
-Like WAW (which I only played the beta and decided then I wasn't going to get it), the guns recoil way to bad, and since there is no more stopping power, goodluck getting a kill from any type of distance.

I cant say this is the worst game Ive played with hiccups (if you played bad company 1 or 2 within the first 6 months of them being released you should know what im talkin about)

not real impressed with the game. haven't played online yet, but from the sounds of it im not missing anything with the lag. i see no improvement in graphics over MW2, but maybe the graphics have reached their limitation with this platform??? IDK.

I've gotten tired of shelling out $60 on a PC game and just getting crap in return lately so I'm not getting it until Steam has it on sale or something. I don't know why PC game prices and suddenly shot up but most haven't been worth it. BF:BC2 has been the only game worth it just about.

Plus after reading a review about Black Ops, I didn't much like the sound of it.

I see much improvement on graphics side of things over MW2. Not sure why anyone can't tell much of a difference? I do agree on the hit detection though. I have not experienced any lag, but I'm playing on Xbox. Joining a game with more than 2 in a party is almost a lost cause. Is there anyway that some big updates could fix some of these issuses?

Played for a few hours last night... and so far my only complaint is that you cant throw semtex grenades very far. Graphics seem just like the last cod to me (xbox). To me it just seems like they added new maps, changed the kill streaks and guns. Other than that there are a few slight insignificant differences. This

meh. hit detection isn't too bad for me. My accuracy is still well over 30% lol

Just wish it didn't take so many hits from the damn m16 to kill.

Grenades need to be able to be thrown farther.

And a few other things but im in a hurry so ill add more to it later.

From reading this thread, and talking to friends, I'm glad I have not yet got this game or plan on getting it. Main priority in gaming is GT5 and Logitech Steering Wheel. GLWS.

I actually like it. I never had a problem with hit detection, but the m16 is way too weak. And a must have for the red dot lover is the Reflex scope, it's a smaller dot and easy to look through. The graphics seemed to have taken a step back, but they have excelled in other parts of the game over MW2. The wager matches are nice, I love sticks and stones. One thing I also dislike is waiting till level 19?!? to play hardcore?
Honestly is a step above WaW, but nothing more. I think my money has been spent well assuming the lag is fixed asap.

I haven't even touched multiplayer yet, but from what I hear, it's a nightmare.

Zombie mode's pretty neat, though. even though I can't get past 4 rounds lol.

i went 23 kills 3 deaths my first time online with Black Ops and I never made it past my 2nd prestige on MW2...

why is everyone saying they are having problems with the gameplay? Also I noticed a big improvement with cinematics and a select few graphics, but the onscreen text displays remind me of shit I have seen out of like the 90s...Could have done that better.

as for the game it is good. i think people are being a little hard on this game do to the fact. yes the game has graphics like waw but hell it is the same graphics team but the graphics are alot more crisp than waw. and there is a lot more busy with stuff always moving in them such as trains, and targets. so i don't see why people are so hard on this game. as for the money system i like it, it gives me something to do in between games unlike past games in which i just sat there waiting for a game to start.

It's more like CoD4, which is undoubtably the best in the CoD series. All the guns are balanced and if you suck, you'll get shit on. My only gripes are the party glitching and the gimping of the snipers (FUCK YOU JD2020). I have a shit connection so I have a hard time playing sometimes and a hard time finding the matchmaking servers. They really need to fix the servers. Overall, it's a great addition to the series, and I'm enjoying so far. Also, I'm overjoyed at the fact that I haven't been killed by a propipe yet.

I'm a level 27. The Famas rapes, the Galil rapes, and the AK74u rapes, but if you can flank and aim, they won't stand a chance.

The story line is great and the pace of the game damn near gives me a heart attack every time. I think it is not suppose to be a follow up to MW2 , but merely a different chapter of the same book. Hell , hope they go all the way back to the Revolutionary war and all of the ones in between.

I cant wait till I get the Galil. I have been waiting for a long time for them to add this gun because I have one and think they're one of the coolest guns ever. I've picked it up a few times in the game and it seems pretty badass. Anyone got any good tricks for making easy "money" or for ranking up quicker?

First off, ditch the 4g modem thing. I played on a verizon mobile thing, and the nat type is so restrictive that you can hardly play. To rank up faster and get easy money, play headquarters. One game of HQ can net you over 10k xp, and you don't even have to be good. If you do some serious work in HQ, you could probably hit 20k xp.
