Depends on you.....its your car. I think it's O.K. but to the point where it is overkill and shaved and the disappearing brake lines it just a waste of time.
IMO...

ELI

Just plan what you want to do..... in the mean time, best to have the motor out and all when you do this .....look around and check out chasebays do some home work. I am planning to do a full engine and motor bay only.

i dont wanna go into the full on wire tuck like brake lines and all .. just make it pretty:) lol
like.. any wires that can be hid. and what should i do about the fuse box under the hood?..
also i dont have power steerin or ac.. are there any lines that pertain to those 2 that i can eliminate right now..
ill try to get a pic of what i got so far

ELI

My battery and fusebox will stay where they are, other than that everything else are going to be hid.
So maybe mine will not be a full bay..... :hammer:

everyone that i say how im doing my tuck gives me shit, but i'm relocating the ecu behind the center console and placing the where the ecu used to be.

i had to extend every ecu wire 18 inches to do this,
most people think i'm wasting my time, but i dont want my fusebox in my glovebox.

wire tucking isnt as hard as people think. It jus takes alot of patience.Cut all the wires out from the stock loom and run it the way u want it to go.simply put

Deentwon
09-15-2008, 11:05 PM

lol but i just need to get my engine out whenever i out the new one in and then shave and tuck everything

Bonb
09-15-2008, 11:16 PM
yes it'll b easier with the motor out..but do a little bit of research before you hack up that harness.lol

Deentwon
09-15-2008, 11:17 PM
well its a d16 harness so theres a few pin connectors that arent connected so i cut em.. nothin to be connected to.. ill do this when i relocate my battery so therell be no power to the wires so theres no short or anything.. is there anything i should no?.

Bonb
09-15-2008, 11:24 PM
Find a good place to run your harness into the car.there are some good locations but I prefer under your srs tray.theres a thin sheet of metal there.Cut a good size whole there n run your harness through.Label your connectors. As far as cutting your loom, thats all advice I can give.

Deentwon
09-15-2008, 11:27 PM
right.. ive heard some people say to run the wires through the middle behind the ashtray console.. would this be better than the spot u described?

Bonb
09-15-2008, 11:29 PM
yea, pretty much.you'll see what Im talking about when you take your dash out.

Deentwon
