Tell those guys to get on the ball. I'm already signed up for Road ATL in March and June with NASA. I'll be running TTB and taking their instructor course those weekends also.

It's a Time Trial class. B is a pretty quick class. My car is still really under prepped for the class. To put it in perspective, the cars to have in TTA are C5 Z06's. They run rediculous times at Road Atlanta (1:32's). TTB is 1 class below that. My S2000 starts out stock in TTC, so basically I have 39 pts. in mods I can add to a stock s2k to max out my points in TTB. I'm just going to be running to get my feet wet. I'll be on RA-1's which won't be competitive when the top runners are all on Hoosiers. A guy in an S2000 actually holds the track record at Road Atlanta in TTB. This past December he ran a 1:37.212. I have a lot of time to make up. My best time is a 1:45 in C trim on street tires. If I can dip into the high 1:30's I should be able to podium and win some "free" Hoosiers.

i haven't forgot. forget about boost. n/a all the way :) I think I'm just gonna put a 100 shot of NOS so I can beat topy down any straight we're on LOL jk..

N/A? That works for you not for my 2az though...lol. It thrives from boosting it. Can't do much with N/A when your stock pistons are 9:6.1 compression and you have a long stroke in a 2.4L motor. And the highest N/A piston I can get would be 11:1 unless I spend bookoos of money and get a custom piston set. By that time I would have spent a unjustifiable amount to only ever be able to make at most 330hp out of the motor when I could have a 600whp car going the boosted route.


Wonder what TT class my tC would fall into.

While I was reading over AMP. I found this from the Site.

We will be offering opening practice on a monthly basis based upon the demand. This will be open first to the members and then to the general public at pay per day rate.


Since it's said to be open 365 days a year, does that mean this will be just like the Nurburgring in that you can just drive up, pay and race on it! Dude, if we have that, that will be SICK!

It was a financial comparison between an N/A build on my car and a Boosted build. Not a representation of what I wanted. Just saying, I would be spending more money doing N/A to get 300+HP than I would boosting and getting 600.

I probably will stop around 450-500whp for my tC. It use to be around 320who before I sold that turbo setup. And just FYI...with 450-500whp, it would not be 100% all the time. Would be setup on a boost by gear with either my management or boost controller.

I can handle the power just fine, I'm not a beginner. This would be my second time boosting the car, and my third turbo arrangement.

You have to be a NASA member. That's it. I was there last August. Great track!
