Tennessee Drift Test and Tune Feb. 27th Sunday!

We have a pretty exciting schedule out for 2011 with even bigger plans than last year. We'll be back at Import Alliance in July and we will be teaming up with Midwest Drift Union to host round 5 of their ProAM in August of this year. And as always in October it's DriftoberFest 2. We are planning on DriftoberFest becoming the biggest drift meet in the South East. With all that said, let's get this party started!

Come out and join us February 27th at the Nashville Superspeedway for our first Test and Tune of the year. We'll be in the front VIP parking lot.
Gates open at 7am with drifting beginning at 9:30am. The best part, it's only $55 to register! Spectators $10, Ride Alongs are an extra $5 (bring your own helmet).

Stopping isnt important as long as you have control. Control is important if you decide to drift. Control is harder to obtain in the rain.

Therefor drifting is harder to do in the rain.


Taking pictures however is much easier to do in the rain. I might add that keeping tall hair up in the rain is easier as well.

If your an idiot and can't control your car I feel for you otherwise drifting in the rain is very easy and easy on the car. Either way this should be a fun event

Im not an idiot, it does make it harder to drift though. Wonder why most people would rather have good tires, good alinment, good suspension and good engines?

I guess the idiots that dont set their cars up correctly could rely on rain for less traction. I would rather have mega amounts of traction and the power to break it loose on command. It makes controlling the car easier when you go too far let off and ride the clutch and youll fall back in line. In the rain you have to hold yourself back instead of go all out.

No one said you CANT drift in the rain, but I surely wouldnt call it easier.

I was the Blue Rx7 with the white hood that spent most of the day spinning out.

Had alot more luck later on in the day thankfully :p

the day was awesome, the wet track made it hard to lay down consistant runs but when it finally dried up you could put some power down and the course ended up being really fun. The run groups worked pretty well too, I didn't get as much seat time as this time last year but thats ok, i'll trade some seat time for these kinds of turn outs.

Is there any way they can book 2 different lots? I've heard quite a few people saying they didn't get a lot of seat time. Not really complaining, but just stating. And the turn out this time was pretty massive compared to the ones I've been to before. I think it will probably die out as the year goes on and the 240's break down

im not sure if it wil happen this year but i plan on learning how to drift when i get my s13 runnin. may be a long shot but i wanna be driving it my the end of the summer. just depends on how work goes.
