Not giving a back story cause I don't feel like it. I'm going to be buying a new bike this spring, looking at 1000cc+.. Really liking the idea of a busa or zx14, but I haven't been in the ike game in a while, so don't really know the issues of these bikes. I'm also open to other bikes of same size.. Any suggestions?

No, won't be my first bike. And id like a happy medium between both. I won't be doing any raing or anything.

Busa is the most comfortable bike I've ever been on. I love my 08... It has 4200 miles on it and has had no problem. Topped it out prob twice and rode some curves with it. Hands down best bike IMO... 08 & 09 models have 1340cc which is up from previous models 1299... There are other changes as well but is a huge difference between the 2 besides the body changes. I've had a 1000rr but it came up too easy and wasn't comfortable at all.

I'm prettying much sold on a buss or a zx14, just for the fact that they are right at each others level. I'd really like to ride both, but most people don't like tire kickers and joyrides lol.
I like the fact that they sit low and are heavy, just seems more stable than sitting up high.
Have you ever rode a zx14? How does it compare to your busa?

Couldn't find any decent diesel sport bikes, guess you're out of luck. :(

ive never rode a zx-14 but as for reliability ive seen 5 kawasaki's go down mechanically to 1 of any other maker.
zx-14s are cheaper bc they are....all around cheaper bikes...cheaper made and less reliable and dont hold their value. plus the zx-14s only have 1352cc.. :p Looks uglier and bulkier IMO
12cc more than the 08-09 & 2011 models.. cheaper but less reliable plus modifying a busa is cheaper than it was to do my 1000rr.
