Chris Palmer??? are you serious? LOL....the offense is fucked. they shoulda kept Heimerdinger.

Palmer's offenses are so watered down it's not even funny. enjoy more of that 4 yard pass, on 3rd and 8 and 3rd and 7, draw play on 3rd and 6 that goes for 4 yards.

I have no idea who the hell Jerry Gray is or where he came from.

Bud Adams has screwed the pooch with a big ass pair of boxing gloves on doggystyle with this one. that old goat needs to sell the team to competent ownership...wow. This is starting to resemble the Chiefs under Herman Edwards....

Jerry Gray was a D backs coach back in 1999-2000 for us and then went with Greg Williams to the Bills. He's been a few places, but everything I'm hearing is that it's a good hire. Remember, the titans don't have a lot of options. They've been denied permission by a lot of teams to interview there coaches. It's a crappy time to try and be hiring good coaches. As far as Palmer, we'll see. I've never heard of him but ya know maybe having a bunch of no names will be good. Maybe they can all make a name for themselves. I hope they can, but we'll see. Next situation to sort out: QB situation. That'll get interesting.

he was the head coach of the Browns when they came back into the league as an expansion franchise in 99. he lasted 2 seasons. his offenses are frequently very lame, and ineffective.

We'll we just have to wait and see on him. My guess is they'll try to get a veteran QB in here, run Palmers offense for a year and if it's terrible then he'll be gone after the season and Munchak can get someone he wants. Ya never know, just cause you are a bad coach in one place doesn't mean you will be bad the next place.

the Broncos are gonna be shopping Orton this spring, so he might be an option.

and true about being good in one place and bad in another, but unfortunately Palmers done poorly wherever he's gone and he's been run out of every place he's gone.

That's the way I see it all. I don't really know what to think about all of it yet. QB is going to be critical IMO. Going veteran isn't the right approach. We're rebuilding, and now is the time to take a chance on a young gun who we can build a team around. Look at what the addition of Matt Ryan did for Atlanta?

We def need to draft a QB, I just don't think this year is right because I doubt that Palmer will be here long. I mean from all indications he was kind of Munchaks only option so I kinda think it'll end up like Seattle did with their O coordinator. Bates followed Pete Carroll from USC and then was fired at the end of the season so Carroll could find a good coordinator. I think that's what would end up happening so their wouldn't be a real point to drafting a QB this year to learn a system and then the very next year learn a new system. That'll just confuse the hell outta whoever they draft. I'd rather wait for Andrew Luck.

I'll probably end up eating my own words, but I think it was a good move. Compared to other QB's available, if he can stay healthy I think he'll be a good mentor for Locker.
