looks like we might have a lockout if an agreement is not reached before Thursday night at midnight. This could mean no football for 2011.

They would be dumb to let football in 2011. There will be some kind of football, I say it'll be a shortened season though. I kinda hope they extend the current one though for a little longer to allow offseason activities to take place.

im gonna be pissed if there is no NFL next season. i love my NFL. college is ok, but it's tainted by the BCS.

at least the NFL has a salary cap and a playoff system. i will be one depressed fool come September if there are no games. Don't know what I'm going to do.

Well, they've extended the current CBA 24 hours to allow one more day of talks. That's a decent sign, but it's just prolonging the inevitable lock out

Another extension! This a very good sign. 7 more days of negotiations and maybe, just maybe they'll come up with something

fixed, but ya....that's just ridiculous. these guys are a joke.

there's people out there that can't even afford to put gas in their cars, and clowns like this are bitching about their money.

i say that federal mediator needs to tell both sides, since they can't decided on how to split $1 billion, neither side gets it, and it all goes to charity.

how bout them fucking apples? then they both lose out.

Adrian Peterson's action figure can't even hold a football...so he's automatically an idiot.

Peterson is an idiot. So the owners make a whole lot more than they pay. So does every other fucking business under the sun. It's not a charity. Its a business. Adrian Peterson must have had a few to many hits to the head. This is more reason they need to look into safer helmets lol.

I think the super super sad thing is, tons of people now unemployed for a whole season. That's the real shame. Players aren't going to suffer over this.

yup, there's a lot of people who only make $50-$100K a year salaries working for the teams that no longer have jobs, and why? because a bunch of snot nosed players are greedy.

what's even dumber about this whole mess, 78% of the players go bankrupt within 2 years of being out of the league. that's pathetic
