hey guys and gals, just wanted to take a sec and post this up for all to see. i know TNDrift has a great thing going this year and Streetwise is doing the ProAm thing for the southeast region, but we're also a Formula D ProAm again this year and unlike previous years, Formula D has done away with the ProAm Nationals. this year, the ProAm series themselves will be handing out the licenses to qualified drivers. that being said, this is a good chance to get serious if youre trying to take it that far. even if its only for some fun, we've lined up some great tracks this year and can guarantee more seat time than you or your tires can handle! round 1 is just past louisville so it would be a breezy drive for the nashville crowd. i hope to see alot of you local guys at some of these events this year!

i dont even have to watch the video to know, at least im pretty sure youre talkin about the cmwerks S13.4, the silver car? the rear overs are origin type 2's.

*EDIT* watched the video, thats my good friend mike skudlarek from michigan. those are just origin type 1 overs. i think 30 or 40 mil's

can you link me to some still pics of his car? (the one at 33 or 35 or whatever). Its gone in the blink of an eye. the only reason I even noticed it was I happened to pause it to hear something and that is the frame it paused on. Man its gone in a flash.

thanks man. I know its really offtopic. I do plan on making some of these events though as it looks like my schedule will line up :)

And I was considering doing a r32 front on my car and this would go so good on the rear

oh, aug 21 is also the date of tnd on the nss....

Is this a joint effort or differnt courses?

not sure if i completely understand what youre tryin to figure out, but regardless, yea, aug 21 is the MDU event at NSS with Barry and TND. this is a collaborative effort, but IS STILL part of our FD ProAm Series so it WILL count.
as for that weekend, we're back n forth with Ryan Tuerck of Gardella Racing and Drift Alliance as well as our good friend Tony Angelo also of Drift Alliance because they may be in town with us to help out and check out the track. with this being said, Saturday is a parking lot practice/demo/teaching day with the Drift Alliance guys and our more experienced drivers. this will help with any fist year drivers or anyone that just wants to learn a little more. Sunday will be the main event inside on the infield.

seriously guys, this is gonna be an incredible event, as will all the others. so if theres any way you can make it out to any of these other events, id really encourage it. its a great way to get some exposure and to meet some of the right people if youre trying to take drifting serious (i cant believe i just said that shit).

anyway, michigans a long haul for all of us, im probably flying. but the rest of the season is well within reach for anyone in the southeast. just takes a little sacrifice and dedication.

yessir. not a dumb question at all. i shoulda clarified. same parking lot Barry uses for the TNDrift days. we got my east coast bro Matt Petty (ClubLoose and Drift Alliance member) on lock down for the weekend, still workin on the others.

other news, round 1 is comin up the weekend after the next TNDrift event, so anyone thats feelin manly can get some back-to-back weekends of drifting in.

i know most of you dudes are getting geared up for the TNDrift day this weekend, as i am too! but i just wanted to give this thread a little bump and let you all know the very next weekend is MDU Round 1 and its a short drive for some rowdy action. come see some drivers you havent seen or heard of yet, or maybe you have! its gonna be a great event and theres still a few spots open.

what an incredible event today! insane battles, outstanding driving, awesome weather, and a GREAT podium! Kris Hackenson in his streethookertrash Risky Devil LS1 S14 got DOWN with Nick Thomas in the finals. Nick and the rest of the dudes at TrackOne did such an amazing job today and came out with a CLOSE 2nd place finish as Hackenson threw his car into the wall like 10 feet after the finish line. if you doubted MDU or thought for a second it wasnt worth coming to check out as a driver or even spectator, just wait until you hear how much fun Nick, Mike, and the rest of TrackOne had. IM SO PROUD OF YOU DUDES! next up, Michigan for Round 2!

This was one fucking fun event leme tell ya!! After having overheating issues with the car, and it bogging out on initiations allllll day...we qualified 3rd and managed to battle for a 2nd place finish!! I was blown away! Nick would have had it if his steering rack didn't lock up on the last sweeper! This event was so much fun...even guys drove down from canada to compete!! Nothing but awesome people passionate about this sport..I'm so happy to be a part of this community and this industry! I can't wait for round 2...this is one fun ass series with a ton of awesome competition...we got 1st place in our sights next round! ;)

Thanks man! We're already starting on the car for the next round...fuel cell going in...all new Earl's AN and Holley Fuel rails from our big sponsor Holley Performance, and a Huge All-In-Fab radiator and oil cooler...we'll be ready to rock Round 2!

We need to get a back up rear end...this one sounds like its on the way out lol

i can hear it now ;) Round 2 is gonna be dope. track is fun and proven. tons of the midwest drivers have plenty of seat time there and say its a blast. similar to Sportsdrome in size (maybe a little bigger if anything) with higher banking. cant wait to see how this season goes!

great coverage! was really good to meet you dude! shitty weather in a shitty city, but we made it thru. now, time to get prepped for round 3 in Indy. fast fun track that everyones excited about.

to all you Nashville dudes, this is not that far of a drive. its right outside of indianapolis at the O'Reilly Raceway Park. this would be a great chance for some of you to get out of your comfort zone and experience another speedway infield layout!
