Tennessee Drift Slide-A-Thon

Registration opens at noon today for the first ever 2 Day Drift event hosted by Tennessee Drift! Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15th.

We'll be drifting in the Nashville Superspeedway front VIP lot both days. Bring lots of tires!

Registration is $65 per day or $110 for both days of drifting. You can pre-register on motorsportsreg.com as usual or you can register at the gate for the same price.

Spectators are $10 per day. Ride-alongs are an extra $5 per day.

There will be different color wrist bands for both days.

If you only want to drift one of the days you must designate which day when you register.

We will have a concessions trailer on site both days.

Camping is allowed in RV's only. No Tents. It's a county ordinance. Nothing we can do about that.

There are several hotels within 15-20 minutes of the track.

There is a car meet at the Chick-Fil-A in Providence shopping center in Mount Juliet on Saturday night we can all attend as well. There are 2 hotels withing walking distance of Providence.

Sorry for the lack of flyer. This all came together today. I know it's short notice but it will SO be worth it!

for those in the "i need tires boat" where were you guys when i hauled off 48 tires to to the tire shop in 15 16 and 17 inch profile tires. was gunna let them go for $2.50 a tire... bunch of them had 60 to 50 percent tread. didnt even know i had.
ill prolly go watch this one maybe ill have motor broke in

Front bumper was trashed long before I got it. Has a lot of cone scuff on it from previous owner.

It's not the worth thing ever... if you want a show car, keep it out of motorsports. ;)

I hhad a blast too! Also had a chance to ride with Hooman. He defitnely knows what he is doing. Just watching him, I learned a lot! Cant wait for the next event.

this event was great, second time drifting a little over 3 years and first time with this car i had a blast. cant wait till the next time

Had a blast yesterday as always, I really like driving this course; I always learn alot. This round I learned that trying to drift without power steering blows balls lol. Apperently on the drive down from stl the pump on my rb took a shit on it's self. This made for linking the first and second corner almost impossible for me... I tried to muscle the car around as much as possible but it just wasn't happening. Oh well already ordered a replacement pump and I'll have that fixed and the rest of the minor damage fixed this week so no worries.

It was a bit cold yesterday so I didn't expect a big turnout but the last event I attended was Driftober when it was like 70 degrees out, lol. I plan to try and make all of the events for the rest of the year and also the IA ones in July! Can't wait.

Did you mean to use such a fast shutter speed? Pics are good but a blurred background would have been cool to show movement, same goes for a blurred wheel. Lmk if you want me to share my technique.
