It's at this point about 350bhp 330whp I'm going tomorrow to get the list of everything done to the vehicle and the vid does look slow but its pushing 9psi at bout 350bhp give or take..... and i said it could..not i would go 190.. yes i know that it doesn't have the aerodynamics to do 190. it has seen 150-165 forgot what the mechanic pushed it to..

I'll hopefully find something tomorrow to race on vid to help it out

Noah, great eclipse. I'm not much a fan of the 3g eclipses, but I do like yours. When you pulled in the parking lot, I'd been hearing about this 300hp eclipse that was hopefully gonna show up, and when you did, it was nice. Yeah you have a body kit on it. I think it's a nice kit, big open mouth to get lotsa air to the intercooler. I bet it was tuned on a dyno, where he optimized it for power and top speed, hence the one-off engine management. I didn't see anywhere in there that the owner said he hit 150 in it, but if he wanted to, I bet it would get close.

I'm kinda disappointed in 3 pages of this thread completely crashing on a guy for modifying his car. The few people who complemented him I know he appreciates, but still... and no, it doesn't look as fast as a mustang or a z. That's what races are for. If you want proof, call him out. You never know what you (or they) can do until you put it on the track. And calling someone a "fucking idiot" for something that you don't know the case of? That's lame.

I'd love to see a spec sheet from the dyno posted up here, especially so the guys on here calling you a liar shut the fuck up. Show a little respect for someone doing what you haven't, damn...

this is my final post on this website... i drove 30 miles last Saturday night to Columbia because someone organized a meet there... so i went... everyone i met there was nice... there went many ppl there from tennspeed, but everyone was nice... the only person that got made fun of out of 35 cars was a white astro van that done a burnout... why do we like cars?? is it because of the style of the car? the sound? the speed?? who knows... i like all three of them... i have never ridden in a fast Honda in my life until last Saturday when i rode in a 00 civic @ 8psi... i am sure that car isnt fast to some people, but it was to him, and i had a good time... i don't even know the guys name... but we had fun... i left Columbia and went to someone's house and played rock band for 3 hours and had fun with people i didn't even know, but all shared the same interests as i did... about this eclipse... there were a bunch of misunderstandings and misreadings on this post... maybe the car looks slow... maybe the car is slow... if you drive a 350Z or lambo, i imagine it would look slow.... if you drive a 400 HP evo or sti, i imagine this car is slow... but it all comes down to the simple fact that all of those statements are opinions, and most of them were taken as facts... I personally never seen the mechanic brake the speed limit while building and tuning this car... but for how good the afr's look through pit the rpm band, i just assumed that he did... maybe he used a dyno... i didn't build it... the man who built this car is well respected, and holds the world record for a Mitsubishi lancer evolution making the highest wheel horse power on a stock ecu... if you do your research, youw ill find out that a 250+ HP 3rd gen eclipse is very rare... as i stated before, 320HP may not seem fast to someone who is used to a 400HP mustang, or 500HP Honda, but for what it is, it is a fun car... for what its worth, if me, or my ugly neon offended anyone here on this wonderful gathering of intellectual minds, i am deeply sorry... i like to meet people that love cars... everything about them... i don't care if its a 85WHP stock crx, or a 638WHP evo... so... iam off... never to view this page again...

they havent really attempted the 1000hp. they broke the world record of obd2 compliant hp and that was ~630awhp on only ~31psi. they do not have the afc in there, thank god. i believe they cracked and tuned the stock computer with evoscan. recently, theyve been having problems with lifting one of the front wheels off the ground in 1st and 2nd, so i dont know what the next step is with the car.

We started off on a bad foot with those guys for some reason, as you probably know how it goes... people are sometimes a little edgy when it comes to racing, especially faster cars... The last time we met the evo they were running the 31 psi map but it was having some problems sometimes, and sometimes it wasn't, once they saw the Z's tail lights they were much nicer to talk to and easier going lol... They seem to be pretty smart about the car, but there were a few normal questions we asked that they looked at us like we were crazy, and they should know that kind of stuff about a "shop" built car I would think...

Im actually glad though to hear that they are getting it going again... Need some competition in the import world around here!!!

No, this isn't what the Columbia Meet is about... it's a few nice cars and lots of cool people hanging out, and it's funny that techy put it the way he did, because he was there for a while, and NO ONE cracked on him for his civic... From the sounds of it while he was there he enjoyed it. There wasn't any drama or bullshit, and what happens on city streets aren't any of our deals... we are just there hanging out. No one got a ticket though, our cops really aren't that bad around here..
