Losing prower at 7000 rpm under hard acc. b16a. Power shut off and car jumps when it hits 7000 rpm. when I shift power returns until it hit some where around 7 to 7500. It fills like it drops out of v-tec or something. Please help this is pissing me off. Thank for any help, Kenny

maybe vtec selonid or the dizzy.

were are you located?

I'm in Knoxville TN

I thought about the v-tec selonid, but I don,t want to replace unless I 'm sure that the problem. Is there a way to test it. the dist. was messing up last week but fixed that by putting new electronic box in dist.

is your motor grounded properly?

do you have a ground wire coming off the head/valve cover???

yeah he has it. it is his dizzy cause it cuts out every now and then but not all the time. :thumbup:

it had been going for a while i thought he would have replaced it all ready. :lol:
