My bike (Engine blown up and finish progress)

Hello all.. My engine has blown up.. :madrun: It blew up with 38,000 miles on it. A rod went thru the block. I guess it gave up after all the hard ass riding and full WOTs and holding WOT for couples minutes and plenty of hard dyno runs. So i had to drop out my 05 engine. I found an 04 engine from my friend with 20,000 miles on it for $350 bucks. Not bad! What a steal! :smile: So I put the 04 engine in and everything is good!! The bike runs like a champ again!! After 6 months of no riding! I was pissed off and was having seizures from no riding. I know some of you know what im talking about! lol!!!

Its in a shop 20 mins away from where I live. That plus I'm still waiting on a couple parts before I drive back down there.

Glad you did the work. I dont see many people do this anymore they just sell parts and buy a new bike. Good to see someone else turn a wrench.
