rota gt3 question?

OKAY, well, now i have been offered a trade for some 16" rota gt3 rims for my 17" motegi rims.

Now they seem to look good, and i think they would look good on my car. He said he had them plasticoated white but i probably take that off and just keep it silver. Here are some pics of the rims he wants to trade.

Also the tire size on these is 205/50/r16

What do you guys think?

If the tires are at least 70% I would say this is a fair trade as long as the rims aren't curbed to shit.

Yea, well i actually mis interpreted what he meant, what he did was strip them because he wanted to polish them, but he got them plastidipped instead. So i am going to be getting them this weekend

It's your car.do what you want to do to it. so if you like em , get em. it's not that hard to paint wheels. I would do it because most people would not even trade for 17's.

Well found out today, that the rota's are not worth it, i would have to buy 2 tires and the other 2 only have 60% tread, so the guy lied to me. So what i've decided im going to do is just plastidip my rims i have now white.

Find some old miata wheels and get a die grinder. Just my opinion though.
