Long story short, curbed a wheel in the s2k

Looking into getting it fixed and Rod's wheel repair http://wheelrepairtn.com/ is practically walking distance from the house. Wondered if anyone has any experience with them, or anyone recommend a good place to get it fixed.

They do good work but if that's a multi piece wheel they won't fix it.

I've had work done by them and have been happy with their work thus far... Why wouldn't they fix a multi piece wheel (may no longer do this)? I have seen them do it before with my own eyes on a set of 3 piece Meister's years ago... It was amazing because lip of the wheels looked like they had been folded in half and they fixed them to be completely straight and you would have never known they were bent so bad...

I took a 2 piece volk up there for a similar repair and the guy said he couldnt touch it bc the wheel was stainless steel..

lol.. anyone who confuses polished aluminum with stainless steel is not someone I want working on my wheels.

I would recommend taking it to Huntsville if you have the time, I have heard good things about these guys - http://www.wheelfix-it.com/

edit: this was a few weeks ago I visited, so pretty recently.

I attempted to go to Rod's WAAY back when I had my 6 spoke wheels and bent a lip when I hit a pothole.

Dude gave me some long, rambling reason as to why they couldnt fix them ... I was like "if yall can fix a wheel that looks like someone beat with a sledge hammer, as your "previous work" shows, then there is no reason why you cant fix a simple bend in a lip"
