Duck Hunting Trip: Video Inside
This past weekend I was invited to Maidendownbay Bay (www.maidendownbay.com ) hunting preserve in SC to hunt with my uncle and cousin. I flew out of Nashville Friday, arrived in Charleston Friday night. I hunted Saturday morning at Maidendown Bay, then Sat night on a river near Myrtle Beach. I got up Sunday and flew back to Nashville. I have never experienced duck hunting quite like this at Maidendownbay Bay. I filmed the hunt with my GoPro mounted on my head. Enjoy the video!

i have only been duck hunting once... and that was a while ago back in england.

rules in england only allow for a double barrel, so it was kind of odd watching you pump round after round.

i mainly hunted rabbits, but not with guns with ferrets.

Yea the rules here only allow for 3 shells in the gun at a time. You have to have a "plug" in the gun limiting the round count.

ferret hunting if fun and the Yield is always good.

net the burrow exits, send a ferret down wait 10 seconds then watch 20-50 rabbits come flying out the holes.... you have to be real quick to catch them as they can easily get out of the net. break their necks as quick as you can so the rest don't get away...

I used to deer, quail, rabbit, and squirrel hunt when I was younger. It was a ton of fun.

This is all the duck hunting I ever did:

Last day of the third split. Me and two others hit limit for doves. Used the handgun to drop the fox squirrel at a slow point. It was enough for a good eatin.

Never been duck hunting. Always wanted to try it.
