I'm assuming you mean adjustable cam gears.
I'd say that it really all depends on your other modifications and where the cam gears are set as to how much horsepower/torque you would actually pick up. The purpose of adjustable cam gears is to shift the powerband up or down. Generally, advancing cam timing yields more mid-low range torque, while retarding cam timing yields more high end horsepower.

just depends, really it will need to be dyno tuned and cams played with, u can gain any where from 2-18hp on average.

Is this for a single cam? What's the level of modification?

Not really any need for a cam gear on a single cam unless using an aftermarket cam that needs to be degreed in, or extreme head milling, or something similar.

im boosting it soon, but just thought of buying a cam gear to add a little torque and see what it would do

You should join www.6thgenaccord.com and look up EmminoDaGreat. He knows everything you need to know about boosting your F23 considering he hit 300+ hp or his with stock internals.

If you don't have any need for a cam gear, then there is no point. It isn't a part that you can bolt on and see instant power gains - all it does is allow for cam timing adjustments. You may benefit after a tune, you might not - it depends on your modifications.

I would direct any and all questions onto that forum instead of this one. They, especially Emmino, will be able to answer all your questions.

why dont u consider a cam SHAFT rather than just a gear. Bisimoto makes great f-series engine parts.
