So I picked up another r6 today
Picked up today a 2007 Yamaha r6s with 3100 miles on it. 2 owner basically stock except for windscreen and exhaust. Enjoying it so far this is my 4th r6 I don't think I will own anything else.

Ever tried an R1? Any desire to step up to a 1000?

What is the difference between the R6S and the standard R6? That looks quite a bit different than other 2007 R6's I have seen. That has the look of the previous body style.

Alex I think he's a small guy. Don't know how he'd fair on a liter bike. Looks clean. I assume you'll lower it too?

One day I would like a r1. Forgot to mention this one is lowered 2" and has an adjustable kickstand already.
Yes I am a little guy I guess lol 5'6 and 160 .

The difference is this is the last year this body style was made there's a few small differences and only made 2 colors for the r6s

Just out of curiosity, which one is considered the better model? The standard 2007 R6 with the newer body styling or the R6S? I had a buddy that had a 2007 R6 with the new body style and it was a nice bike. Looked similar to this....

Other than a R1, I'm right there with you.

So a mechanic at my dealership decided to play bumper cars with my bike and a jeep wrangler.
Bike is getting all new oem parts from Yamaha of Coolsprings courtesy of my work.

Total cost of just parts not including labor is a tad over $1,500. Needless to say I ordered bar ends and frame sliders today

So sitting here in the hospital bored as hell realized I never updated. Got the bike fixed with all brand new parts from Yamaha. Also added frame sliders and bar ends to prevent future accidents.

I will continue to update this as I gather parts. Planning on a short yoshi, smog delete and power commander in the near future
