I just got an 06 R6 that I'm working on. It has 14k on it but the guy had torn up the fairings and attempted to plastidip them and they look terrible. It's a project/daily. I'm thinking about getting a power commander for it. The bikes been lowered and stretched just a little.

My least favorite body style of the cbr. Such a pain in the ass to remove fairings.

Glad you enjoy it. Sounds like you're racking up the miles. It's easy to do in nice weather though.

i haven't had a hard time with the fairings yet, everything has been pretty simple, but then again i dont have a previous bike to compare removing fenders from, aside from a kx125 when i was younger.

whats are your end goals for the bike? those R6's are supposed to be one of the best for tight twisty roads. power commander is always a pretty solid upgrade.

im selling my evo now if anyone knows anyone who wants one lol

depends on what you want to do for fun, drag which would make use of the extended swing arm and lower setting, or twisties which would be better experienced with stock ride height and stock swingarm. stuff like that, all depends on the riders preferances. fun for me is twisties, my buddy love drag though, he just got his r1 custom tuned in addition with a new PC5 and trumpets, says its a world of difference

Yeah I'm just looking for something to daily most days. I don't plan to drag it and I'd rather it be stock height with stock swingarm but this is how it was when I got it
