Looks like an awesome build. I have a PSM bug eye Sedan. Doing any head work on the ej205 heads?
Thanks man, gotta love PSM! I think I might do cams and mild porting, but most likely only after I get it running again.

:Update:
After some tomfuckery on the part of the seller of the Hybrid longblock, I gave up on that, and moved on to the 2.1L Stroker Short-block (Pictured Below) mated to my freshly rebuilt heads, also pulled the trigger on a Blouch Dom 1.5xtr, Ceramic coated hotside, and with only 3500 miles, and at a great price.

I also bought a 2.5L Oil Pan, and 11mm STi oil Pump, and will be buying Killer B Oil Baffle and Pick-Up all to prevent oil starvation that can happen with the 2.0 Oil Delivery System. All the parts are getting in just in time for me to be off to school again, so I'll be riding the Megabus back to Nashville to work on the car. :naughty:

:Update:
I have a 4 Day weekend from school this weekend, so I'll hopefully be getting some work done this weekend. Looking to get the heads onto the shortblock, and get closer to having a semi-assembled long block.
New pics now that both the Turbo and the Short Block have arrived.
1.5xtr is next to the VF39.

Nice. It seems to take a lot more money to make bigger power on scoobs than evos. Is the engine design the reason?

:Update:
Got some more parts in. Finally got to opening up the block, it's a little dirty, but all looks good.

New Competition Stage 2 Clutch to handle the "powah"

As far as oil delivery, got the Killer-B pick up in, as well as the 2.5L Oil Pan, and 11mm Oil Pump.

Also, I've finally stepped my gauge game up from the duct-taped on 15psi Boost gauge, and got Prosport EVO Boost, and Oil Pressure Gauges, as well as the AEM UEGO.

And finally, I got a DW300 Fuel Pump, which is complete overkill for what I'm doing at this point, but hey, if I need 340lph, I'll be ready for it.

:Update
Had some time to put in work today, so got to installing the 11mm Oil Pump, and Heads, and also did a TGV Delete. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be getting the long-block basically completed and ready to be thrown in.

There's a few odds and ends I still have to buy, like a few exhaust gaskets, and valve cover gaskets, which apparently aren't included in an OEM "Complete" Gasket Kit.

So that's a little bit of a delay for that. I may just break down and go to the dealership to get the gaskets quickly, so I can just (hopefully) get it all together this weekend.

lookin good man!

Yeah the OE gasket kits leave quite a bit out. Not sure why.

Its more about balance with this cars. These are excellent at putting the power to the ground, so it doesn't take alot of power to make them decently fast.

Another update.

A few oil/filter changes and 1,000 miles later the motor is broken in.

However, I've discovered an oil leak that's been driving me fucking nuts, so I'm pulling the motor to help locate it and stop it before I finally WOT tune. Seems to be around the turbo, but I can't get a good look at it with the turbo in, and can't remove turbo with the intake manifold on, and in all honesty I'd rather pull the motor than deal with the intake manifold, also if it ends up not being something on the turbo, I'd like to have access to more shit.

Also did an IACV swap, and an axle swap that was needing to be done before the motor even shit the bed, which got me thinking that I should install the few suspension/brakes odds and ends I have, so I'll likely be doing that in the next week that is spring break for me.

Planning on adding a new spring/strut combo soon, like D-Specs and king springs, or KYB AGX and King Springs, but that's further down the road for the time being.
