To start I bought this car back in August of last year and it was pretty rough as it wasn't taking care of. It was pretty much stock when I got it.

It had crappy tail light, 3 bent wheels, a crappy weld on muffler, a clogged cat, and just needed some other work.

But anyways onto the build. I'm starting to build a 400whp car. I should hopefully be picking my block back up this week from the shop. Ill be running the qr25 with stock 9:5:1 cp, with about 18psi Max boost. For now its a slow build as money is slow. It will be a all purpose car as it will be a daily. I already has tein coilovers, a 4 point jimmy bar, header full 2 1/4 exhaust, cai, balance shaft cut, 1 pound crank pull, and some others

I have an 03 spec, but i'm staying NA. You should join b15u, there's great information all over the forum and check out the 2j-racing section, they are developing HUGE improvements for the b15 platform.
So i thought I would give an update. Got all the parts ordered and alot of the parts already.

-wiseco pistons 8:5:1 cp .20 over. Already have
-k1 connecting rods. On the way
-new qr25 crank for higher revving
-BC valve springs and retainers
-BC stage 2 cams
-ported intake with a vq35 throttle body
-precision 5858 Turbo
-3in from Turbo back
-clutch masters stage 4 six puck clutch
-are head studs

And I'm sure more will try and get some pics up later
What made you go with the BC cams instead of JWT? and I thought they proved that with the vq throttle body it actually hurt the qr's performance but that may have been a n/a motor, but I thought it wouldn't work on the 02-03 ecu's? my spec v was totaled so i'm not up to date on this, but just curious.
BTW I have a spec v tranny in case your interested.
The way I understoud it was only the 04-06 could do the relearn but I could be wrong.
The trans is from an 03 and i'm not gonna lie it has 170k on it, and I had replaced it because it has a whine from one of the bearings in it, all the gears work with out a grind and I replace the front input shaft bearing but shortly after I believe the rear input shaft bearing went out. I gonna sell it cheap compared to what a junkyard one cost if you or anyones intrested.
I won't be using the kit. I gutted the inside
Kit is better, reliability wise. Atleast IMO with some facts, but ballin on a budget aint bad.
I also have a new QT link and the rear derlin offset bushings if your intrested. They've never even been installed.
