This is a car i recently picked up as my new project. The car is in very good shape for its age and the amount i paid for it. Its a 1985 Nissan 300zx vg30et. Its a single t3 turbo stock putting out 205 horse and 220 torque not bad for the year it was produced. Z is a t-top and a 2 seater GLL model .The car runs but not as good as i was hoping i am not really sure whats wrong with it the previous owner said it was the ecu so i ordered one taking his advice but i am not so sure now if thats the problem. I am most likely going to do an engine swap as a good friend of mine on this forum is selling an rb25 det. So far thats the plan for the new power plant. I already have 2 descent sized turbos i am not sure which i will use on the car. The following are pictures of the car and my plans for it.

RB25DET swap
New Headgasket
Custom Top mount manifold
Bigger turbo ( I have 2 not sure which one i will use)
Mega Squirt engine management
Straight pipe exhaust
Tial 44mm wastegate with open dump
Greddy type s BOV
FNO1Rc's
New Dashboard
New seats
Loose the AC and power seats

So you are sorta building a 200ZR? If so, sweet. One Nissan I would really like to build.

You gonna pick up 200ZR mounts and oil pan? The cool thing about this swap is you could theoretically use almost all factory parts for the install :D

i have been doing some research on the mounts it seems that the angle of the 200 mounts do not perfectly line up with the 25 luckily for my there is only one guy who works on my cars he is a custom fabricater and he makes the megasquirt engine management systems. He is a great guy and can do pretty much anything so he will be helping me all through the process
