So, im ordering the turbo next week. I need opinions. 7268, or 7875 turbo? Im limited by my 80lb injectors. Would like quick spool but not super high backpressure at 7k rpm. 4l80e and a circle d converter. Up/forward manifolds. E85 for fuel. Thinking 7875 just to be safe. Looking for 700+/- wheel hp.

Seems to be a large turbo setup to make 700whp on ethanol... What about a Precision gen 2 6870? Quick spool and you can get a large enough rear housing to not have back pressure as long as your exhaust flows well and it's rated to 1100... Or even a 6766 (925hp rating)...

Milon, as much as i would love something like that, it costs more than i have in the entire truck at this point. Im going to stay cheap for now, once i can invest more in suspension and a cage and such ill get a better turbo and cam and heads.

Ive looked into the billet 7875 it seems nice. Good price. And on sale at the moment.

Also, if i blow the 4.8 ill step up to a 5.3 or 6.0, i know the 7875 would work well with those.

i vote billet 78/75 from viren on a budget. i am doing two of them on the new build :)
WOW those things are cheap!!! It's like the old eBay ones I used to use on my Civic hatch... Worked well and lasted about a year each with extreme abuse... No complaints here...

BTW you are nuts brother! Two of those?!?!?! You'll be able to pull the Supra down the track faster than I'll be able to drive it down the track!

Ahhh I see... Those Precisions are not very budget friendly but they make great power with unreal spool time...

What Barry has suggested seems like it may fit the bill as long as spool time is reasonable... That's a massive turbo for the price but should make killer power...

So, havent updated this in a while. Figured i should. I sold the 044, picked up a walbro 465lph in tank. Ive got -8 ptfe stainless braded hose for feed and return. Picked up some ebay fuel rails. Went with a Trickflow FPR.

Still need some manifolds. So yea.

But i suppose people just wanna see pics...

So here is one.

I had a thought... I can sell the black truck as is non turbo. Then i can buy a newer 4wd truck with an ls (1500hd or something) and put all these goodies on it... I don't know what to do. But its starting to warm up so i can work on something... I should be able to get decent money for the ls swapped black truck.
