Does anybody know how much trouble it would be to do this swap? Or better yet has anyone on here done the swap? Any kind of info would be appreciated.

Why not 1JZ? Much better motor and very similar in size and mounting.

i agree swaps for 240s are endless and with the right help ryan we could pull it off you know me n bruce are down for such a projectthe biggest i would think would be the mounts worst case we can get bruce or yoshi to fab some up

if your doing a jz of some kind theres a company that makes a mount kit, harness, shifter extension and everything you need

Either a 302/350/LSX/2JZ would be what you want to look at.

I DONT GET WHY PEOPLE WANT TO SWAP ENGINES OUT OF 240S SO MUCH.
KEEP THE KA AND BUILD THA SHIT OUT OF IT.
YOULL HAVE ENOUGH TORQUE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY.

Built ka's don't last very long. Without going into specifics a friend back home was making 400ish on his and in 3 yrs I saw 0 clean passes. Good luck.

My car, 1jz all the way.

and the reason people go with these engines over say a ka, is with the stock twins and downpipes and your making 300whp. Throw a single like my 35r and it's a whole nother league. 1jz's stock blocks are good for 600+ and we all know about the 2jz's.

ryan, quit being a puss and build a KA. I actually know where one is you could buy to rebuild, the guy is about to go to boot camp and doesnt' need an extra motor
