My 2000 Mustang GT driver's side window is going up crooked and binding. Has anyone else replaced an electric window regulator on one of these cars?

If your talking about when you start to roll it up the front end dips down and jams , Then I had the same problem on my 00 mustang v6.. Im pretty sure the gt and mine would be identical. Its the glue on the window that has came off. Only way to fix this is to take the window out and reglue it <OR> buy a whole new window. The way to take out the window is stupid, You have to take rivets out just to get it out and then reinstall rivets. I took it to a shop and had them reglue mine which was like 90 bucks but a couple weeks later it came off so bought a new window for like 200bucks. Ya ford screwed over on this. The glue hardly ever works ( Then again mine's a convertible so it may be a little different). Hope this helped a little.

Very true, I once worked for Ford parts for about 4 yr. (dealership) but most of them are rebuilt. Keep up with your copy of the invoice. 8)

This is wonderful news. =(
This car has taken a flogging for 102k miles with not a lot of issues. I plan on driving it another 100k. I do my own mechanic work though, so when the trans started grinding in 5th, I put in a Cobra 6 speed.
mine did it too

my 94 gt had the same shiz...but the re-glue worked well for me...3m window-weld urethane FTW....

bitchin on the t56 swap...that t45 those modular 4.6 cars came with the teh suck

Thanks, I will definitely try that 3m first.

5th would grind every once in a while when I bought the car at around 24k miles. By 85k miles, it was every other shift. So I bought the T56 shortly after the blower, the T45 didn't act like it was going to last long with boost.
