A few suggestions for the new site

Thought I'd post this up...contribute if you like. Not trying to bitch about the site just trying to help

1. The quick reply should be turned on automatically...don't see the point of clicking quick reply on another post just to activate it

2. 100 characters isn't enough for sigs. I tried to trim mine down to just my mintygood pic and james' quote and it wouldn't let me. should be like 500..ish

3. Would be nice if I could see the contents of the black hole from the front page like the old forums

4. I really have like 1400 posts...not 1100

just noticed this.

when I quote someone after they have quoted me it does not make the "pyramid."

might be hard to follow the entire conversation w/o this

on my pm's it says all my mail is new but old of it is old
will i have to go through and check each one to get it right???

you can click the check box at the very top and select everything and then go to the bottom and select "mark as read"

not really a huge deal but can you put off topic, black hole, and all that shit at the top like it used to be?

honestly they are the most popular forums and I think it will just be easier

not sure if this is a bug or not but when I type in all caps it auto shrinks it down to lower case. Burn unit will be angry

It does that on purpose, its called the SHOUT feature, to prevent online yelling, lol.

also, just a quick question, whats the deal with post count? some people dropped significantly while some got over ten thousand?! wtf? no biggie, just want to know how that happened...

matt, some threads were lost in translation and also we got hox0red that one day, so if you posted in General Automotive Discussion, a lot of your post were lost therefore bringing down your post count.
